Feeding of the 5000 - Jamaica (December 2013) |
| We would like to thank our main sponsor Mr. David Parker for paying the airfares for Marcia (safiyya) Sarkin and Keturah Hamilton to get to Jamica for the Feeding of the 5000 as well as paying for the hotel while we were in Jamaica. If it wasn't for Mr. Parker, we would not have been able to change the lives of others, to give them a happy Christmas. When there is hunger, there is no nourishment for the brain and the soul. We would also like to thank the Small Brothers for taking us all over Jamaica, buying products and food that we needed for the Feeding of the 5000, as well as clearing customs for the food and supplies that were sent from WBS and Keturah Hamilton for the Feeding of the 5000. We want to thank the brothers for also hosting a birthday party for Blackie who is an orphan child as well as their workers and volunteers that made it a very successful and special event. We want to also thank Jordan Bennett, Omar Bourne and all the volunteers tha made Feeding of the 5000 possible. We want to also thank Andre Thompson, Paula Shaw, Colgate Palmolive and all the other contributors and donors.

Safiyya became very emotional at the site of Mrs. Whitley. A 105 year-old Jamaican woman in deplorable conditions. She can hardly hear and see. She is being helped by neighbors in this shanty town village. |
